Word of Life Church Inc (“Word of Life Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our online giving, and our text message program.
Who we are
Word of Life Church Inc is a church in Palm Coast, Florida, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. We hold services in Russian and English and serve the surrounding community.
Information we collect
- Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address when you fill in a form, sign up for an event, volunteer, or give.
- Messaging preferences — if you choose to receive text messages, we keep a record of your consent, when and how you gave it, and any later request to stop.
- Giving information — when you donate online, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive a record of the gift. We do not store your full card number.
- Website usage — standard analytics such as pages visited and general location, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use your information

Text messaging
We offer two kinds of text messages, and you choose each one separately when you sign up:
- Non-marketing messages — service changes, reminders for events you signed up for, volunteer scheduling, and ministry coordination.
- Marketing messages — invitations and announcements about upcoming church events and church news.
These are two separate, optional choices. You may accept either, both, or neither, and you can change your mind at any time. We do not send donation or fundraising requests by text.
You are never required to receive text messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of attending, volunteering, giving, or taking part in anything at Word of Life Church.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example our website host, our text messaging provider, and our online giving processor. They may use your information only to perform that service for us.
- Legal requirements — if we are required by law, or to protect the safety of our congregation and community.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you disable them.
Your choices
- Stop text messages — reply STOP to any message. We will send one confirmation, and you will not receive further texts unless you sign up again.
- Get help — reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the details below.
- See, correct, or delete your information — contact us and we will help, as far as the law allows.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and our text message program are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where a child takes part in a church program, we work with the parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
