1. SMS Program Description
Word of Life Church Inc operates the Word of Life Church Text Updates SMS messaging program.
By voluntarily subscribing, you may receive text messages from Word of Life Church at (386) 387-3899.
Our program includes two types of messages:
Informational / Non-Marketing Messages: Worship service schedules and changes, reminders for registered events, volunteer scheduling, ministry coordination, and responses to church-related inquiries.
Marketing / Promotional Messages: Invitations to upcoming church events, special gatherings, ministry activities, classes, and church news.
Subscribers may choose to receive either category or both. We send messages only for the categories selected.
We do not send donation or fundraising requests by SMS.
2. Enrollment and Consent
You can subscribe to our SMS program through our website:
https://wordoflifepc.org/text-updates/
To subscribe, provide your mobile phone number and actively select the optional consent checkbox for the type of messages you wish to receive.
Informational and promotional messages have separate consent checkboxes. Neither checkbox is preselected.
Providing your phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not required to attend church services, volunteer, donate, or participate in church activities.
3. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies depending on church activities, schedules, registered events, and your selected messaging preferences.
Recurring messages may be sent.
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from Word of Life Church and messages you send to us.
Please contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging and data plan.
4. Opt-Out Instructions — Text STOP
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to (386) 387-3899 or replying STOP to any message received from Word of Life Church.
After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.
You will no longer receive SMS messages from this program unless you voluntarily resubscribe.
To receive messages again, you may complete a new signup at:
